TBPR is Trey Burley Public Relations. We're an Atlanta based PR company that is well suited for small businesses.
Trey started his career in radio as vocal talent and Program Director for a variety of radio stations including, WZMB, WAIL and WKWF. Concurrent to this radio experience he wrote feature articles for a number of publications such as New Route Magazine, Encore Magazine and The Key West Citizen.
As his broadcasting career grew, Trey went on to work overseas at Star 108 in Italy and Cross FM in Japan. During this time Trey continued to write for a variety of publications including The Gai Jin Gleaner and Insite Magazine.
His management skills were utilized overseas when he worked as the Office Manager for CLI, the largest independent English as a Second Language school chain in Japan. It was his responsibility to create lesson plans for the school and to assist with any culture shock that western teachers might have experienced. Trey was also the
voice of CLI, recording the school's audio pronunciation cds for their 4,500 students.
When Trey returned to the United States he served on the Board of Directors for Hair of the Dog. HOTD was an non-profit organization that raised money for local animal groups and it was his responsibility to plan and promote all of these events. Those events ranged from 40-900 people attended and received media attention from Creative Loafing, The AJC, Insite Magazine, WAGA, Atlanta Illustrated and USA Entertainment.
That non-profit experience led him to PAWS Atlanta where he was in charge of public relations, social media and fundraising. For five years he was the face of that organization, representing them on camera with WAGA, 11 Alive, WSB-TV, Atlanta & Company, CBS Atlanta and Comcast Pets On Demand.
Trey wrote all of the web content, quarterly newsletters, grants, email blasts and helped network the organization to where it was one of most known 501c3s in Atlanta. Due to Trey's PR and fundraising skills their total income had increased by 95% within four years of his being there.
Trey's contacts and relationships helped coordinate an episode of Animal Planet's, It's Me or The Dog to be shot at PAWS Atlanta. In that episode Trey appeared quite often on camera as the management liaison who was most familiar with expenses, budget matters and outreach.
He's conducted radio interviews or arranged for PSAs on most of the stations in Atlanta including, WSB, NPR, The Fish, Dave FM, The River, WGKA, WRAS, WGST, B98.5 and WABE
Trey also arranged the public relations for the 18th Annual X-MAS Party, which is the largest fundraiser for Captain Planet Foundation. His work with that event helped CPF raise more money than ever before on their walk up ticket sales. Currently TBPR does some of the social media for CPF, including their
twitter account and facebook page.
